from favorite toy, to ornament

I had a gal contact me about doing a custom sculpt Christmas ornament for her little boy who has a favorite toy. It was a bit elaborate and of course there are always things I would do differently as with every project. But I think it turned out acceptable and I think the baby will recognize it! :)

tiny micro mini shells!

I have been so excited to share these with you all! I traveled 5 hours to a lake I knew had them, then had to gather sand in areas I knew they were concentrated with these shells. Most people probably never look close enough to see that they are not tiny rocks they are micro mini, tiny beautiful shells! I had to sift through the more fine sand, the go through the tiny rocks of sand to pull out the shells, took many many hours. Some of the shells are the same size as some of the grains of sand! So tiny that I can BARELY photo them using my macro setting. If you want some they are for sale in my shop head on over there! www.tinytinacreations.etsy.com
